Dear Ask the Eagle: If Steve Briggs makes all the 3 point shots to win the Goldie’s chicken-fried steak dinners for everyone, would the NAIA concede the national championship to OKWU now?
To Chicken Dinner:
To our most avid sport fan and dedicated young Eagle, if Steve were to do this amazing thing that we all know he is more than capable of, the NAIA should.
So to answer your question we went straight to the man himself, Steve Briggs and asked him. In response “Well, first, that is a funny question, but, no man, we would still have to go take it from them.”
But we as the Eagle Clan needed more. So we asked our very own Head Eagle, President Piper.
“If Steve can make that many points in one night and in one game, I will give everyone at OKWU free tuition,” Piper said.
We, as the Eagle clan believe, without a doubt, the NAIA will hand over the title but only if Coach Bostwick does a hand stand and walks from one end of the court to the other.
If both of these demands are complied with the title will be handed over no questions asked!
