Can my cap and gown be sent to the Tulsa campus for pick up?
The AGS Office in Bartlesville can send caps and gowns to the Tulsa campus at no charge if the request is made to Founder’s Bookstore at least 2 weeks prior to graduation. Email founders@okwu.edu to make arrangements. Delivery will take 3-4 business days. You can email ckennard@okwu.edu or call 866-225-6598 (toll-free) or 918-728-6143 and ask for Courtney to schedule cap & gown pick up.
Can my cap and gown be shipped to me?

Am I required to attend Commencement?
No, but it is highly recommended since it is the culmination of your experience at OWU and you should have the privilege of walking across the stage. Your family should have the experience of seeing you do so.
Am I required to attend the Baccalaureate service (May Commencement)?
No, but it is a lovely service expressing thanksgiving and encouragement for your future.
Do I have to attend the Rehearsal for graduation?
Yes, otherwise you will not know where to line-up or have your card to hand to the reader. For your convenience, it is scheduled just one hour before the Commencement service.
What time do I have to arrive for December 2007 Commencement?
December AGS & Traditional Commencement: Plan to arrive on campus at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 8th to allow time for parking and finding your way to Lyon Hall in the Chapel Fine Arts Center. For your convenience, Rehearsal begins at 9:30 a.m., scheduled just one hour before the Commencement service. It is always good to be a little early because parking is at a premium.

Can all of my family come to graduation?
Yes, you can invite all your family members. The Chapel has room to seat 4-5 guests per graduate. There is overflow seating with live video feed in Lyon Hall, which is adjacent to the Chapel auditorium.
How long does graduation last?
Usually, graduation lasts between an hour and an hour and a half, depending on the number of graduates.
Will I receive GPA honors for my MBA program?
Honors for MBA students will be noted on their diplomas and will be announced when they receive their degrees on stage. Students with a grade point of 3.8-3.99 will receive honors and those with a 4.0 will receive high honors. (2007-2008 Academic catalog on-line, page 88)
Will there be pictures taken?
Craig’s Photography will be taking pictures of graduates as they accept their diplomas on stage. The photography flyer included in your packet gives additional info, including the website user name and password for accessing the graduation photos.
