Database use on campus does not require a username and password. Current students, faculty, and staff may contact the library for off-campus access information or if you need assistance using the databases. - Credo Reference
- Credo Reference is a completely customizable general reference solution for learners and librarians. Its full-text, aggregated content covers every major subject.
- EBSCOhost
- Several databases with thousands of full text periodical articles and citations for articles available through the OWU library.
- Gale/Cengage
- Gale/Cengage includes three databases: the Health and Wellness Resource Center and Nursing Resource Center databases contain many full text nursing-related resources. The Literary Resource Center contains biographical resources and literary criticism on authors of many disciplines and time periods. Materials may be obtained in hardcopy or through Interlibrary Loan from the OWU library.

- Encyclopaedia Britannica
- With over 73,000 articles, Encyclopædia Britannica is one of the most complete and accurate information sources in the world. It contains both short and book-length articles on every subject.Use this powerful resource to search or browse for information in encyclopedias, magazines, videos, and Web sites.
- Guide to Social Science and Religion in Periodical Literature
- Indexes 115 periodicals emphasizing religion and social work as well as denominational periodicals ranging from liberal to conservative viewpoints.
- SIRS
- Knowledge Source provides access to selected full text articles from over 1500 periodicals and Internet resources.
- CQ Researcher
- A comprehensive database providing full text information on current news topics.
- Facts.com Issues and Controversies
- Full text articles covering current topics of interest on various issues.
- Newsbank
- Citations and full text articles from over 500 international and national newspapers, wire services, and broadcasts since 1991.
- Mergent Online
- A powerful business database with national and international company data, archives, annual reports, fact sheets, and a great deal more relevant information available in full text.
- Preview
- Find summaries, entertainment and morality ratings for approximately 2,900 movies.
